On December 15, Promotion Conference & Opening Ceremony of Shanghai Electronical Chemicals Special Zone was held.  Vice Mayor, Mr. ZHANG Wei, attended and announced launch of Shanghai Electronic Chemicals Innovation Research Institute, while Vice Secretary, Mr. CHEN Mingbo, hosted the conference.

Signing Ceremony for Electronic Chemicals Projects and for Electronic Chemicals Innovation Union was held, witnessed by MA Jing, director of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park-The Economical and Technological Development Zone, by ZHANG Yuxin, vice director of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning & Natural Resources, by SU Guodong, vice director of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, by ZHAI Jinguo, member of Jinshan District Party Group, and by many other municipal leaders.  HOU Jinhua, vice director of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park-The Economical and Technological Development Zone, hosted the signing ceremony, and representatives from Red Avenue New Materials Co. Ltd attended the conference and delivered the speech.

Shanghai Electronical Chemicals Special Zone was established in December 2020.  Red Avenue, as one the first group of key enterprises moved in, has set strategy on electronic chemicals and focused on R&D on photoresist and key raw materials, which are contained by foreign countries.  We have realized the mass production technology of electronic phenolic resin, providing a strong guarantee for the localization of photoresist.

Currently, the phase1 project of Red Avenue Electronic materials is in full progress, covering product line with an annual output of 11,000 tons of photoresist products and 20,000 tons of supporting reagents, together with matching public utilities, auxiliary facilities, application testing platform, etc.  It is expected to be completed and put into production in batches from the first quarter of 2022. As the leading photoresist enterprise in China, Red Avenue has already partnered with major domestic 12-inch and 8-inch fabs and our KrF photoresist has been widely used in 14nm and above tech nodes.
